Tatum’s Hodge to miss 2-3 days of camp07/29/2009
Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips mentioned a group of three players who would miss some time during camp, including third-round draft pick Robert Brewster who is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
Meanwhile, Tatum’s Stephen Hodge, who told me last week he’d miss “a few days at the start of camp,” will miss “a couple of days,” according to Phillips in Tuesday’s opening press conference.
Hodge had arthroscopic knee surgery during mini-camp in June, but could be back by the end of the week.
Nose tackle Tim Anderson, who had surgery on his toe in May will also miss some time.
The names not listed are very positive, including guard Kyle Kosier (foot), kicker Nick Folk (hip), wide receivers Isaiah Stanback (knee), Miles Austin (leg), and Sam Hurd (leg). Everyone appears to be ready for the start of camp.
