He is right, not all criticism is a bad thing, but I can NOT imagine being a player for the Dallas Cowboys, they get criticized probably more than any other team in the NFL (or maybe it just seems that way since we’re IN Texas….:-D)

The Alamodome is definitely a great place to be, it’s a very unique place. San Antonio is certainly a great city as well.

I had the privilege of working with McGee when I was with the Texas A&M football team. Stephen is a man with character and a true leader. He is definitely someone that kids can look up to. I wish him the very best of luck in his first season and hopefully he’ll get to see some playing time…..

I think everyone else has just about said it best; something new always boosts one’s confidence. This new stadium is no different. But they shouldn’t let themselves get over confident. They need to stay level headed. A new stadium won’t help them play better, but it will boost their self-esteem.

Each new season is just that, a NEW season. The team and coaches will have to do what they can to put last year’s “miss-haps” behind them. They will have hopefully learned from their mistakes or the mistakes of others and thus grown as a team, I hope. I can imagine that they will start off strong and stay strong should they do this.

Well, Andy—great question.

The starters for the most part are solid, experienced, and I think their strength would be straight-ahead, similar to mid 90’s team—power ahead.

However, the offensive line will be as good as their backups, and those have to step up, including Proctor, Holland, Free, Gibbons, and McQuistan.

They have some unknown younger offensive linemen, but although I don’t think any backups will push the starters, someone needs to step up.
